YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
A CITY SET ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN.

The church of Jesus Christ is the light that must not be hidden, the city on a hill.  And while the church is people, the place where we gather matters. We are, by definition, the gathered ones. And in his kind wisdom God has brought Covenant Presbyterian Church together on a hill.

40 YEARS OF FAITHFULNESS

As Covenant Presbyterian Church nears 40 years of ministry, we have good reason to celebrate God’s faithfulness. He has raised up a vibrant church with a heart for the gospel, a commitment to study God’s Word, a desire to sing and pray, and a passion to invest in our children and neighbors calling them to worship Jesus.

Eagerly we look to the next 40 years, confident in the faithfulness of our God.

“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!” (Psalm 115:1)

TAKING THE NEXT

STEPS IN BUILDING

Just as a home matters to a family, so a place to welcome neighbors and worship the Lord matters to the church. The church is not an abstract concept but actual people gathered together by God in communion with the Lord Jesus. It will always be more than the raw materials of which it is constructed. It will be a home. We want to take care in how we build and understand why we are doing so.

Specifically, we have identified the most pressing needs as greater space for teaching, fellowship, staff offices, and space to provide greater flexibility for our children’s ministry and Spanish-speaking service.

OFFSITE OFFICES COME AT A COST

Calculated over the past 15 years for staff travel between their offices and the church.
